Captain Curly at home in
Nova Scotia, Canada.

Little Bit is checking
things out to make sure everyone is positioned right for the picture.
Here we go!! All
posed and ready for you to meet Captain Curly's Nova Scotia family.

On August 23, 2001, Curly
had his first adventure in Nova Scotia, Canada.
The first stop was to the
Memorial Site of Swiss Air Flight 111 which crashed off the coast of Nova Scotia
in September of 1998, killing all 229 passengers and crew aboard.

Pictures of our famous Lighthouse at
Peggy's Cove.
The Village of Peggy's Cove has a year round
population of approx. 50 residents. The most remarkable visible
characteristic of the area is the granite rock. Huge boulders picked up
and deposited 10,000 years ago by the last retreating glaciers are
scattered randomly in and about Peggy's Cove. Earlier glaciers already
had removed most of the soil and loose rocks exposing the 415 million
year old "DEVONIAN" granite that you see around you. The
Lighthouse (which during the summer months is the home of the post
office) is anchored in rock and is the only post office/lighthouse in
North America. It is a major tourist attraction on the South Shore.
