Good day,  Ivory here.  If you've been following our stories, you probably know about my sister, Ebony, and I already.  But just in case you stopped at my page first, here's a little about us.  The shelter had to close temporarily seven years ago, and we were fostered out to, guess who, MUM.

By the time it was okay for us to go to the shelter, Mum had fallen so much in love with us that she just couldn't let us leave, so she adopted us immediately

Well, I'm just so excited - Look what we got.
We are now members of the WWWCW.
How about them bananas!  Seeing as I'm the Grand Pubah and CEO
I get to display the card on my page.
And now we are members of another club - Tigger's Shelter Cat Club
YIPPEE.

World Wide Working Cats on the Web

Aren't I just the cutest kitten  you have very seen.  Well, you ain't heard nothing yet.
Just wait until you read the rest of my story.

I really love to get into tight spots, don't I.
I was just checking out the garbage and I got caught.

My sister really does love me, doesn't she.
Sometimes there would be four of us in this basket.
Talk about sardines.    YUM   YUM

Thumper was a wonderful cat.  She loved to snuggle with me in the basket too.
Thumper was a senior citizen when we "crashed her pad",
but she accepted us just as if we were her family.

The basket got too small for us, or we got too big for the basket - I'm not sure which, so Mum got us a cat bed.  Sammy also loved to share - too bad he left us so soon.  We hardly had time to get to know him.   I just love to pose for the camera.

See, here I am again.  Do you think I look like a Turkish Angora?
Some people think I do - the way my tail flips forward.

Just me, posing again.

My sister, Ebony, and I catching some rays on the window shelf.
We aren't allowed to go outside so we spend a lot of time here.

Here I am helping Mum put up the Christmas Tree.  I don't know what she would do without me.

More ribbons and trophies

Look at all those trophies and ribbons.  I wonder who they belong to. They're all mine, and there are many more that aren't shown here.  This is just one day's haul.  See the Morris the Cat award (the big one).  I won that in Halifax in 1996. Boy, was I some proud kitty cat!

Look, More award and trophies.  We almost had to start another wall. And all these just for being a plain old stray cat - I mean, a classy plain old stray cat.

Mum was so proud of me.  This is taken at the SHAID Tree Animal Shelter Cat show. I won a lot of awards at that show too.   Would you believe Mum has this picture at work so she can look at it everyday.

There are some pictures of me being judged at the SHAID Tree cat show. There were no purebreds there.  Just plain ordinary cats with a lot of class, good looks and personality.   One of the judges called me a "Ham".  Said I got better the more attention I got.  These are International Cat Show judges and they donate their time to us every year to come up and judge our household pet cat show.  We have a great time and there is a class for only SHAID Adoptees.  That is a really tough class, because we are all great looking animals, and  people are starting to realize that "Strays" are the best pets in the world.

I'm so bright, Mum almost forgot to put lights on the Christmas Tree.

Note the counted cross stitch picture over my head.  Mum loves cats so much she did this picture and gave it to herself.  She usually gives her pictures away, but she kept this one.
