January 2010:
Check out my
on-line store at
http://www.lilleypad.etsy.com
I thought
this would be the easiest
way to set up a shopping cart, as
well as keep what I have available
current. :-)
I will be
adding more product to this
store as it becomes available, however,
if you would like something special made up,
e-mail me and I'll turn on the
pot.
Next up are
some Valentine's goodies:
votives, tealights, snaps, soaps in
Red Hot Cinnamon and something
in CHOCOLATE.
-------------------
Another
successful Craft season
has come and gone and I am already
looking forward to hitting the craft
trail again.
I wish to
thank everyone for your support
and look forward to seeing you in 2010.
Some new
things planned for this year:
New
packaging for tart/snaps.
More container/jar/tin candles in
palm or soy.
My craft table is going to get a
complete display overall. :-)

stock left for the year end but perhaps not as good news for you, my customer.
:-)

Regular candle
products as of December 4, 2008
Please
e-mail me or call 902-543-2909
if you are interested in any of the above.
Thank you all for the wonderful support this
year. The new palm votives, melts, tealights and pillars sold exceedingly
well.
October 2008
Well, I have some really exciting
news for all my candle loving people.
I am now making palm wax candles. This a 100% natural wax (until I
add the scent and colour) and performs like a soy candle. The candles when
cooled have a starburst effect. You must see them to believe it.

Note: Although I will
still carry a small supply
of paraffin wax supplies, I will be concentrating
on making soy or palm wax products.
August 2008
I had a chance to inventory my Fall and Christmas
products as well as the scents on hand and
the ones I will be reordering this year.
Check out the Excel Spreadsheet.
-----------------------------------
My candles and lotions are
now available at Chris' Convenience Store in Mahone Bay. We will be adding
more stock in the near future. Stop in and see what Debbie has. :-)
Also this summer my products
are available in Lunenburg at Admiral Benbow's and the Maritime Museum of the
Atlantic, and my soaps are at The Teazer in Mahone Bay.

2007 Fall and Christmas Craft Shows
Another season of successful craft shows over. Phew!!
December 2007
Check out new lower prices of
body butters and
pampered pet paw balm.
September 2007
Believe it or not, it is time to start thinking about making up my Christmas
products. Where did the summer go!!
I will be ordering my Christmas and Fall scents soon, so if anyone has specific
scents they would like to order, please let me know asap and I'll see if I can
get them for you.
Here are the scents I will possibly
be ordering this year plus more.
NOTICE: As most of my fragrance oils come from the
US, I should explain that due to new USPS mailing restrictions, Canadian
customers will not be able to have fragrance oils shipped via USPS Air if the
flashpoint (the degree that a fragrance can explode) is below 200 degrees F.
These oils will have to be shipped via UPS or Fed Ex ground, and will be subject
to brokerage and duty fees.
I will be ordering some of these fragrances to be shipped
via USP Ground as they are a MUST and my best sellers, but I will be limiting
the number to a minimum. They are thousands of scents available with fp's
over the 200 so am going to concentrate on them.
I do order some of my oils from Canadian suppliers but
have found that the costs are sometimes very high in comparison to the ones from
the states and are the same quality or better.

I'm also looking forward to doing some new fundraising projects this fall.
Contact me if you might be interested.

July 2007
The CPE Nationals
(Canine Professional Events), an International Dog Show will be held at the
Bridgewater Exhibition Grounds from
July 6 to July 8, 2007.
We will be there and have a 10 x 20 tent set up so if you love dogs, please
check out this event and visit us as well. :-)
This is the first time the show has been held
outside the US.
---------------------------------------
I will be at the Lunenburg Craft Festival from
July 14 to July 16 at Arena.

June 2007
From June 1-3 Kelly and I will be attending the
Berwick Blossom
Market in Berwick, which has moved from the Kentville Arena to the Berwick
Arena

May, 2007
Attended the Tulip Festival in Truro
from May 18 - 20, 2007. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate with
the festival events which affected the attendance at the craft show...but I had
fun and that's what really counts.

March 2007
I have added body butters to my product line. Check
them out at
http://www.thelilleypad.com/butters.htm
February
2007
I would like to thank all my wholesale and
retail customers for a fantastic 2006. Without your support, my business
would not be expanding at the rate it is.
Here's hoping 2007 is even
better.
Thank you again.

January 2007 - Ok, just did a
count of what I made up last year and the figures are astounding.
Can't believe it.
Over 8500 soy and wax votives,
1000 tarts, 1500 tealights,
2000 bars of soaps and more.

November - 2006 Well, I just have to pat myself on the back a bit
again.
The
Dynamite Twirlers
of Halifax are selling
my wax votives
as a fundraiser for their organization.
In the past month, they have sold over 700
and I have orders for 400 more.
If anyone is interested in supporting
this group, you can
e-mail
Jill Schwartz and
she would be delighted to help you. :-)
I have been contacted by another group this week
to make up 500 votives for their fundraising.
FUNDRAISING
My votives seem to be replacing some of the chocolate bar
fund raisers in the area with my votives. If anyone else is interested,
particularly in Nova Scotia, please
e-mail me
and I'm sure we can work something out.
Check out my fundraising
page
-------------------------------------
November 2006 So far this year I have made over 8,000 soy and
wax votives and counting. (Nov.06)
The Craft Shows are over for the year
and it was a phenomenal year - thank you all.
Please drop in if you are in the neighbourhood!
--------------------------
January 2006
I was asked to provide samples of my soaps
to the 1200 delegates attending the
2006 Juno Awards in
Halifax held in April. :-)
A big step for me this year is being a participant
at the Saltscape East Coast Expo
which was held
in Halifax on April 28, 29 and 30, 2006.
