Hand knit Slippers

During my spare time - which isn't a lot - I've been making up quite a few pairs of knitted slippers.  You remember the kind that grandma used to knit.  I'm not using the Phentex yarn as it is fairly hard to find and a ;_*&^  to work with.  I'm using worsted weight yard which makes for a softer textured slipper.

If you live in the Bridgewater area, stop off at my house and try them on.  They are priced according to slipper length.

I live in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.  I retired in April 2001 after having worked with the Town of Bridgewater for 25 years in the position of Executive Secretary, working with the Mayor, Town Manager, Finance Officer and Human Resources Administration Officer. 
I created and, until January 2007, maintained their web page.

I love animals and have three wonderful pets, who were all adopted from our local animal shelter, SHAID (Sheltering Helpless Animals in Distress) Tree Animal Shelter. 

The Lilley Pad Pets site is my fun site. It's all about my pets and animals in general.
